All-On-X Full Arch Fixed Bridge

Restore your smile with a fixed, permanent and high-quality ceramic solution for missing teeth.
Full Mouth Dental Implants

Reclaim your smile with the latest in implant technology and enjoy a confident, long-lasting result.

If you’re missing most or all of your teeth, full mouth dental implants offer a permanent, life-changing solution. Unlike dentures, which can be uncomfortable and shift throughout the day, full mouth implants are securely anchored to your jawbone, providing you with a natural, functional, and beautiful smile that feels just like your own.

Because the teeth are ceramic, they won’t discolour like dentures, helping your smile stay bright long-term. And unlike traditional dentures, your palate remains uncovered, meaning you can fully enjoy the taste and texture of your food again.

At Shortland Dental, with a branch of Hutt Dental Implant Centre on-site, we use cutting-edge technology and premium ceramic materials to give you a smile that feels just as strong as it looks. Whether you’re missing teeth on your upper, lower, or both arches, full mouth implants are designed to restore your oral health, enhance your smile, and improve your quality of life.

Experts answer your questions

Full-mouth dental implants are a permanent solution for patients missing most or all of their teeth. The process involves placing titanium implants into your jawbone, which act as stable foundations for custom replacement teeth. This allows for a natural-looking smile that functions just like your natural teeth, without the inconvenience of dentures.

If you’re missing most or all of your teeth, full mouth implants could be the right solution for you. Ideal candidates should have adequate jawbone density, but even if bone loss has occurred, there are techniques such as bone grafting that can help. A consultation with our team will help determine if this solution is right for you.

Typically, the full process can take several months. Initially, the dental implants are placed and allowed to heal and integrate with your jawbone over a period of 3 months. After this period, custom prosthetic teeth are placed, giving you a complete, functional smile.

While recovery times can vary, most patients experience mild swelling and discomfort for a few days following surgery. As the implants integrate with your jawbone, your healing process will continue, and you’ll be able to gradually resume normal activities. Our team will guide you through every step to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the recovery period.

Unlike dentures, which can slip or cause discomfort, full mouth implants are anchored directly into your jaw, offering a much more stable and natural solution. Implants don’t need to be removed for cleaning, and they function just like natural teeth, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile confidently without worrying about loose dentures.
